Company History
ProMetal Management Inc. is an exciting, vibrant new company that was launched in Nov. 2007.
With 20 years of experience buying and processing steel in Western Canada, ProMetal has positioned itself to ship roughly 3000 tons of scrap metal per month to any part of the world and/or North America.
To ensure a steady supply of cubed car, cubed metal, and HMS #1 & 2 to our customers, ProMetal has roughly 600 different yards of steel to collect from in Western Canada.
ProMetal is aggressively pursuing new markets overseas and have already networked with a number of contacts that will help expand it's gross tonnage and supply quality and environmentally sound shipments of scrap metal to our foreign markets.
ProMetal has approximately 20 pieces of recycling equipment including a 580 Al-Jon baler which is capable of processing 25 000 plus tons of cubes per year. Other equipment include shears, magnets, track hoes, loaders, car flatteners, trucks, trailers, and containers.
Experienced and knowledgeable staff along with new and well maintained equipment has enabled our company to develop a very tight quality control system.
Our production manager oversees all operations and can be reached directly to discuss specifications so the customer is ensured that he is getting the product he wants and that all contracts are upheld to the highest standard.

About Us
Bryan Glasman is the owner and Production Manager of ProMetal. He oversees all operations and is the direct buyer of steel. With over 20 years in the metal recycling industry he has obtained and utilizes a priceless knowledge of the business that can clearly be seen in its daily operations.

Carlos Costamagna is in charge of logistics and sales for ProMetal. After graduating from university with a marketing degree, he quickly joined the workforce and has gathered over 15 years of experience in the transportation sector. He has lived in many different countries in South America and upon immigrating to Canada; Carlos began working with the export of containers and ground movement via rail. His vast knowledge of the export industry has made him an invaluable asset to ProMetal Management Inc.
